Yes it will raise you up! I am 6 feet 2 inches and at full I would say a few inches. I also placed 2 inch extenders on the floor boards. I would just like to add that no Bunnies were hurt in the writting of this post!
Yea, but does it make your *** look fat? All kidding aside I don't think you can beat it for comfort. I'm keeping mine,
Hey Nellybelle,
Little off topic I have a black 2009 UC but have a white and black helmet...yours is white!Took me a while to figure out why everyone infront and behind be was doing the speed limit then figured it out they thought I was a cop! you get the same?
Does the Zeppelin push you back any ? DH is 6'6" and needs all the leg & arm room he can get. Bought a new '12 Ultra and I'm PO'd that we pay that much for a bike and the seat sucks ! The seat on old 03 Ultra was so comfortable we could ride for hours and I now think it had to be aftermarket.
DH is looking at Mustang seats too, we saw a Zeppelin yesterday on another Ultra and loved it. We've moved the tourpak back for more legroom for me (+ farther back I am, more he can move back) but the seat on the new bike seems to make DH set upright more foward.
To be honest(because I usually ain't) did not notice that it pushed me back at all! But well worth the comfort. If DH is 6'6 ( I am 6'2) I would suggest getting floorboard extenders about 2inchs this will give him more comfort in the leg dept eventhough it goes outward and not forward.can also get forward extensions. You can get seats that will push you back a few inches but not as comfy as the Zep! I would suggest going to your local dealer or if you have a friend that has a Zep and sit on the seat before you purchase you never know. It is the price you pay when God makes you that tall!
had one loved it!! love the bunnies metaphor! as for the pipes, its a safety issue, that heavy bike is a little low on power, so when you go to pass a truck, sometimes it takes too long and it could be an accident waiting to happen, if you had the extra hp that pipes give you, you would be much safer!! thats my story and I'm sticking to it!!!
don't try to pass in 6th gear. drop to 5th to pass
I know, I know...but I have to say after a 6800 km trip to South Dakota and back. Most of it screaming because my butt was on fire! My sweet heart..ah my wife and not my 2009 UC got me a Zepplin seat and I must say it is like sitting on a bunch of soft baby bunnies filled with air. Well worth the coin! oh and it was my 50th so she had an excuse to buy it. Now I just have to find an excuse for the pipes!
i hope it works. ordered one for my 2012 trike along with V&H pipes with monster round mufflers and screamin eagle super tuner
I've got 39k miles on my Zep and have never though about changing seats. The best part is being able to make adjustments and change the feel of the seat. Makes for a big difference on the long days. It does raise you up but I am only 5'11 and do not have a problem with it.
