I live near Aurora, Il. lookin' to buy Bell 500 3/4 lid. Anyone local know where to get one? Would like to try on 1st before purchase, now have Fulmer V2-X-lg. wondering how they compare in fit also. I'm about 40 mi. sw of Chi-town.

I have a V2 and Bell 500. Sizing is the same on both and the fit is very similar. If your V2 is comfortable and you can't find a Bell to try on, I think you can confidently order the Bell in the same size as your V2. You're gonna like the Bell. It has a better quality lining than the Fulmer and is more comfortable for me.

 

omgtkk, thanx for the input. I've heard the Bell fits a little lower on the head also. Searched other threads on here nothing but good things about it. My big concern was the fit, thanx again. Guess I'll order one.

 

Wife and I both have custom 500's luv em small retro look is great comfortable liner also best buy for the buck

 

I bought the Bell 500 last year, Pro's- great fit & finish, very comfy.
Cons- no vents, very warm in summer temps, also not as slim as advertised, makes your head look hugh.

 

I love the look of the 500, but I tried every size and non of them "felt right". So I'de find a place to try them on before ordering one online.

 

Check out a Licks 3/4, DOT approved considerably lower profile than the Bell!
