Hope to close the deal on a 2011 stock seat and have it shipped to Mean City Cycles for the super narrow mod. Hopefully it will get to them next week, then just gotta wait till this time next month for the mod as he is SUPER busy.
Should have the Freedom wings on Monday, gotta get some 3M stuff and 1/4 round plastic molding and I can put on the Plasma rod extra brake lights.
Nice bike. There are a ton of mods you can do... If you don't have a stage 1 a/c and some sort of tuner along with slip ons or true dual pipes, that's what I would go with first.
Well, y'all probably ain't as excited as me. My previous scooter (soon to be up for sale) and my first ever HD is a 2005 883C with a lot of chrome, windshield and saddle bags.
I got a 2012 Street Glide with cruise, abs, alarm (with peizo screamer and the little pager that alerts you if someone is messing with it). Before it left my dealer I had the 4 point quick release mount and caps, and a 6.5" KlockWerks windshield.
Next mods are a pair of Freedom Wings wind deflectors, some type of mount for my Galaxy note ( to work as a GPS) and as soon as I can find a cheap enough stock seat off a 2011-2012 Street Glide will send it in to Mean City Cycles to have the Super Narrow mod done. Since I am vertically challenged.
Got the standard quick detach backrest already, now I need the stealth luggage rack. I also have a pair of 8" Plasma rods for extra brake lights on the back.
Thinking on some type of headlight and or brake light flasher. Any suggestions?
Any suggestions for other worthwhile mods that don't break the bank. Gotta keep the spending on the low side til mama cools down some.
