Ok.. some of you have shields that go well past the normal mounting points a stock shield does on either side.
Couple of questions for you:
Who makes them?
Are they still quick release, cuz it looks like they would end up mounting into the top of the fairings on either side...do you have to release fairing bolts then?
If you are someone with one, why do you like it over the stock or another brands style?
I just installed a 9" 1/2 moon in bronze on my 2012 ultra my bride and I both like it and the Clarks are wonderfull people to do business with..Just give them a call and she will adress any of your concerns..she will answer the phone up to 9:00 central time
I have the largest(tallest and widest)shield that Clarks makes. And I absolutly love it. Do your self a favor and order the light grey. It makes riding at night a pleasure, cuts the glare of on coming headlights down, so you aren't blinded. I look through mine, and really prefer that over looking over. Use novix or pledge to clean it and rain rolls right off with no glare, etc.
I've got a 11" "winged" shield and it works pretty good (way better than stock 12", not to mention the KW 6 1/2") but even with fork and lower batwing deflectors plus lower baffle I'm still getting some of my hair blowing back in my face, eyes and mouth. Got a 16" Clark flattop in the mail to me?
