I asked this on the electrical forum but no answers yet. I have an 02 Ultra and would like to upgrade to the newer style lights (smooth lens). I know the spot lights on the bike now are sealed beam units. The set I am looking at have the replaceable bulbs (881 I think). Question is are the plugs on the newer bikes different for these newer bulbs? I assume if they are I would have to replace the plug or forget the ones I am looking at and buy the sealed beam smooth style for more money from HD. Thanks for the help.

I installed the new type on mine. They were a direct replaement. MIne is also an 02' I replaced the headlight too.
