Default Exaust Gaskets

Need advice.
Bought V&H's Power Duals from a member here.
My question is, should I replace the OEM port gaskets or just leave em in there ? They didn't come out when I removed the stock header.
3000 miles on the bike.

Will do. How do the originals come out ? It feels like there's nothing in there.

There is pobably a better way, but I used needle nose pliers, very carefully as not to scratch the mating surfaces. Its a crush type gasket, once you have the new ones in hand you'll better be able to see how to get the old ones out I think.

when I got my power duels they came with gaskets...and yes you should change them as the power duels have a different shape flange then the stock header does and the se type gasket works better for them.

Would you suggest the same SE gaskets for the VH Dresser duals?

Vance and Hines recommends the SE exhaust gaskets for all their headers. I installed the Dresser Duals on my 2012 Street Glide and the SE gaskets worked perfectly.
