I installed power duals last week used the supplied gaskets.. now I have an exhaust leak from the front cylinder.. should I replace them with the SE gaskets?

I had the same problem...and took the whole thing back off....there was nothing wrong with the gaskets....you prolly need to just retighten them....
Ditto, V&H normally recommends the SE gaskets on their pipes. I use a small 90 degree pick to pull out the old ones. Clean the area around the port with lacquer thinner of similar solvent then seat the new SE gasket in evenly. Don't overtorque the bolts.
I have frequently heard that the stock HD gaskets work better than the SE ones. I believe one is round and the other has a shoulder. From experience, I know that either work. Most leaks occur from improperly tightened headers.
