Default Alarm Problem

I need help!! I have lost the key fob for my 2006 bagger. I have a key but the PIN code does not work or I have forgotten it. I tried the one the dealer puts in and it did not work either. Is there any way to fix this? Can a new fob be programmed while the system is set? I had thought to add a pager but would the alarm have to be off to install it? One dealer I talked to said I will have to replace the tssm module, but it seems like the dealer has a way to do this. Any advice?

If you lost the fob and don't have the pin code you have 2 options.

1. Buy a new fob and module and have the dealer program it.

2. Remove the existing module and have dealer program bike for no security system. (Keep module in case you find the fob and have it reinstalled.)

Good luck!

If you lost the fobs and do not have the PIN you are going to need a new TSSM and new fobs.

On my 2002 EGS, if the FOB fails, the bike can be unarmed using the ignition switch (specific sequence), turn indicator buttons in sequence of your personal code, which has to be done in a certain order too. Are you sure your sequencing the manual disarm properly? Could save you some bucks if ya try again. Just my 2 cents. If you don't have the complete instructions, you can google search and it's posted there in detail.
