Default Bank Angle Sensor?

I ride a 1999 Road King Classic, TC88, EFI. 132,000 miles on her. I've owned her since she was brand new, and have enjoyed many rides on her with very few problems.
Yesterday, riding to work, she suddenly died - just quit running; no sputter no backfire just quit like I'd turned off the switch. Lights still on, signals worked, no error code. Turned ignition off/on and she fired right up. She did this 3 times within 12 miles. Then on the ride home from work, she did this about every 100 yards - exciting in bumper-to-bumper traffic. She starts every time after I switch off/on, but will only run a minute or two before quitting again.
I'm suspecting the Bank Angle Sensor, but that's purely a guess.
Anyone have similar problems? Was the problem fixed, and how?
Thanks!

Its got to be electrical. I have never had this happen..... Dumb *** question.... Gas in the tank?

Good luck, I will ask some friends and see if they have any ideas.

Going to get the manual for my 99 ultra right now. To check the code om my ultra, you turn ign on for 3 secs off for 3, on for 3 off for 3 on and then watch check engine light. Will flash in rapid succession then a 1 sec pause and more flashes. Count the first # and then the ones after the pause. That is the code you are throwing. I am going to grab my manual right now to see if it is the same for the rk. If not I will wait for your reply. If it is, tell me the code, and I will tell you the issue. You will have a code in the memory that might not come up when you are running. Will be back in a few...

OK, got the manual. After the three on three of procedure, it will take 8 seconds with switch (key and kill) on for the code to start flashing. If there are no codes, the only other thing that comes to mind is the circuit breaker failing. This has been a problem for some, aparticular year for almost all. If that is failing though, not only will the motor die, but your other electronics will too; headlight, parking lights, gauges, etc. Is that happening?

Just noticed in your original post "lights still on" so scrap that thought.

I'm at work, bike at home, so I can't tell you the code right now. But I will try that when I get home. Yes, full tank of gas; lol.
Maybe a bad relay? I don't have to wait any time for it to work again - just switch off and immediately back to on and she starts/runs. That's how I was able to ride her home yesterday; when she'd quit, I'd pull the clutch, reach down and switch off/on, pop the clutch and ride till she quit again. I'm now thinking the Bank Angle Sensor needs more time to reset....
Thanks!

You stated your EFI. It could be a possible fuel pump issue. And when you cycle the ign it could restart fuel pump

That's true - when I have to switch off/on, I hear the fuel pump pressurizing again which tells me fuel pressure was lost, now that I consider that possibility. However, I can't hear it while the engine is running anyway; my hearing is not the best at my age!

A friend tells me to switch my headlight to hi-beam, then watch to see if it goes out when it fails. This is supposed to mean it's a relay, and eliminates the bank angle sensor as the problem.... Weird! Never heard of using the hi-beams as a diagnostic tool.

Does the "run" switch by the right grip feel sloppy? Maybe rub around on the run rocker switch while it is running and check there...
That switch has took a lot of vibes in that many miles, you never know.

I rarely, if ever, use that switch so I don't know if it's sloppy or not - I'll certainly check that.
Yes, I have put quite a few miles on the ol RoadKing but she's always been kind to me and gets me home (except one trip - cam shaft bearing failure outside Blue Hill NB on the way to Sturgis. That's a whole 'nother story).
Thanks everyone for your ideas/thoughts!
