Thumbs up 5 Star review for the Brukus "KickShoe"

I first saw this product mentioned on here mid last summer and I thought it was a pretty good idea but didn't feel I needed it.... Until late last summer, we painted our 3 car garage with an Epoxy garage floor kit from Lowes. First time I put the stand down in the garage I noticed as the bike leaned over the kick stand, Haamm Hummm... I mean Jiffy Stand, it slide somewhat and scuffed up my "new" floor. By this time I had forgotten about the kickshoe and had a flat piece of thick rubber I always had to kick around with my foot to get the stand on that.

Forward to a few days ago, a member on here was looking for a kick stand "thingy" and someone was helpful enough to post the link to the kickshoe and I prompt ordered 1. It arrived with almost lightning speed, I think 3 days... it was a quick and simple install. And it works great, saves my floor and will always be there whenever I need to park on hot blacktop in summer or gravel, or other soft stuff.

The only suggestion I have for the maker is to include a photo or 2 on the instruction sheet showing how to properly orient it on the kickstand. Its not complex by any means but it would've saved me a few seconds during the 2 min install LOL.

Anywho... I have ZERO affiliation with Brukus... Just wanted to share a good experience with the fellowship here

Hey - Thanks for the great review! Protecting the garage floor is actually one reason we use the material we use on the KickShoe, so I'm glad it's working for you. The KickShoe will not only protect your bike dropping when the stand sinks into soft surfaces but also protect the flooring where it is parked.

And thanks for the suggestion of the picture. If you could be more specific - we will take specific pictures. And I think a video of the install will be something we handle real shortly, too. That would probably help even more.

Have a great day and Ride Secure!

By the way, here is the link for the Brukus Discounts for HDForum members that include the KickShoes.

After I put it on the bike, I did notice you have pictures on the website... I would just include one of those on the instruction sheet (Just a photo of the kickshoe on a kick stand) to aid in orienting it for install

not only does it provide more area so the kickstand doesn't sink, because it is almost an inch thick, stands the bike more upride and makes it easier to lift off the kickstand.

Thanks! We have actually been trying to schedule a photo shoot with a customer with a 2009, since our bike is a 2006. Hopefully that will happen soon and we can have all updated pictures. Good suggestion!

Wanted to share this Facebook message we received about the KickShoe.. Forum Discount Link.

"This very KickShoe on this very bike saved the day once again! Paul rides to work (works at the VA in Charleston) most everyday. They have just paved the employee parking lot. Something went wrong in the mix of the asphalt... couple that with the Charleston July heat and you have SINKING Bikes everywhere! The VA provided ground plates for the bike riders to use.... But Paul didn't need one! His was the only bike that was still in it's original position! Thanks Brukus... Yepper, we're secured!" Gina
