Saddle bag latch lock
I lost the nut on the lock. I have tab that moves when u lock it. What size is the nut? and am i missing anything else?

I lost one on mine three months after I got it. They just put a new one on under warranty. But I don't think the parts are expensive. Go talk to the parts guy and get the right part. And some lock-tight.

Spring, Flat Tab, Nut. Funny, last Sunday pulled into Church, went to lock the left bag and heard a "clunk" and the key, in the lock, spun all the way around 360 degrees. I slowly opened the bag and the nut and flat tab fell onto the ground. I was 15 minutes early for church so grabbed the tool bag and 5 minutes later I was inside sitting in my seat.

If you dont want to go to the dealer,remove the other one and match it up at your local hardware store.Look for a "jam" nut.It will be thinner than a regular hex nut.

Just for your information, the part number for the flat cam is 90682-93. I lost mine some time back. The dealer told me I had to replace the entire locking unit....not true. Replace the missing flat cam and all is well again. Not much of a cost as well....a few bucks.
