Bad Vibrations
I know that some one has posted something like this but I can not find it. I have a 04 RK FLHPI with a Ness big sucker A/C and V/H true dualls, Wild pig muffs with 2" bafflles. Also I have the PCIII USB to control it all. My problem is after my 10K service at the dealer it vibrates very bad at all rpm's. The dealer said it was fine but I had it so heavy modified that it could be anything. Was told to bring it back and they would research it for a cost. What would make this thing vibrate so bad? I know at idle they do but it always smoothed out at higher rpm.Any info or help on this is greatly appreciatted for I am wanting to go riding as soon as the weather opens.
Thanks again.

If it was not vibrating before the 10k service I would start with what they have done and work from there. My 01 service manual lists 12 things, most are loose/worn mounts or mounting hardware and alignment.

Years ago I had taken my Lowrider in for service and when I got it back, it had a lot more vibration than when I hadbrought it in.I had some suspicionsso I bought the service manuals and researched it myself. What I found was the apparently the tech loosened one of my engine mounts and gave the fitting 1 full turn throwing the alignment slightly out. I put everything back per the instructions in the manual and it was perfect. Also, check the exhaust for alignment and that it is has minimal stress on the mounting points. Good Luck and Happy New Year!
