I just wanted to share my experiance with the Better Lever. My rear shifter arm came loose again. I replace the first one about 40K miles ago and had 35K on it then. I also changed the trasmission spline back then too. I decided to try this lever and am glad I did. It's a great product and was easy to put on. I had the old one off on in about 90 minutes. A couple of beer breaks in there! The bike shifts like new and again and the owner guarantees this for life. I am local so I picked it up from him directly. We talked about bikes for 45 minutes and talked up how he came up with the product. Anyway, just wanted to pass on a product that I am happy with.

Looks like it would be easy to do and a lot less expensive than having a dealer do the work

 

Easy to install on the newer models I here. I did a write up on my install over the winter. Personally I think its way worth the $$. In fact I suspect HD will be coming out with a similar lever soon. They seem to do that with other peoples' ideas and claim it as their own.
