You can do Fullsac true dual conversion for under $200.00. Replaces the y-pipe with 2 pipes that turns it into a full true dual exhaust. If you do the work yourself make sure you use the small piece of tube (mandrel) that is provided and drive it fully into the left pipe inlet, where the new piece will fit, and use a hammer and reshape the outside of the pipe till it is perfectly parallel and round or you will get a leak. Use all new Harley Davidson clamps also, with them placed at least 1/4" from the end of the pipe.

That's what I did, works great, you can see how it looks in my pictures. IMHO
+1 on the fulsac setup. Used to see them on Ebay for $140 or so, new, search for "07-8 True Dual Harley FLH Electra Glide Duals King Road". That's where I bought mine. Easy install, great sound. Only recommendation would be to call HarleyGoodies (site sponsor) and order the single chrome shield from them, about $40, much nicer look than using the two factory shields together.

Do you have a part number on that shield they don't seem to know what i'm talking about.

What I did was send them an email asking them if they have the full length heat shield for the the fullsac conversion. They then sent a Paypal invoice by email, which I think was around 50 bucks or so.
