Sorry about the previous incomplete post. Other than replacing the muffler clamps, is there a "loctite-like" stuff I need to apply on the new mufflers before pushing squarely onto exhaust pipe and tightening the clamps?
I use Permatex Ultra Copper High Temp Gasket Sealer. Just a bead, don't smear it all over the pipe, you will probably never get them apart again if you do that.

TIA
No need, slip 'em on clamp 'em down.
They are hard enough to pull apart when need be, I can't even imagine trying to get them off using a sealer.

Glad I saw this post. I installed my Jackpots last week. I DID brush on some High Temp Anti Seize around the ends of the head pipes, before I installed the mufflers; but otherwise, I just torqued the clamps to spec.
Of course, after I had the mufflers installed, I remembered using the Copper High Temp Gasket Sealer when I installed the Roadhouse Classic's 2-1 pipe on my Road Star. All I could say was, "Oh, crap, don't tell me that I have to uninstall these mufflers and start over."
