Given you weight factor and riding 2up I would suggest the 2-2a's and let Howard do his magic with building the shocks and supplying just the right spring for the job.
well that was good to read jjhog, i see you`re runnin 2-2a`s and you`re happy? what kind of weight are you carrying,if you don`t mind me asking. Howard did say he`d put mine together with 32kg springs but send some 29`s and i`ll send back what i dont use, he`s a cool dude

Quite happy with them. I am running the Ohlin 00480-34Y which is a progressive spring 22.7/35.5 newtons. The spring itself is 230mm long and has a spring stroke of 130mm. The 2-2a has a shock stroke of 83mm so this particular spring gives you 47mm (130mm less 83mm) of preload adjustment.

I driver weight is around 230# and my passenger weights in at 170# so that gives us a combined weight of 400#. When we go on long trips I haul a trailer with my bike so there isn't any added luggage weight.

I also have a pair of Ohlin 2B's on the way. Was explained to me that when actually sitting on the bike with sag removing the extra 7/8" of travel I'll be at standard Street Glide Ride height. The 2A's with sag will put me below stock height.

I ride 99% solo with ~215lbs of running weight. Touring probably another 30lbs or so.

IMO not worth the premium Progressive charges for them over their standard offerings. The difference between the Progressives and Ohlins is pretty substantial. To me it was like going from a Chevy to a BMW. The Ohlins "are" a premium product and their performance justifies the price. The 940's are just pretending to be a premium product. I gave mine a way to a buddy. Definitely a nice upgrade from the stock air "rocks". But the Ohlins are in a completely different class.
