Default Fuel Filter electrical plug

What is the special trick to get this to release and unplug? I know it can't be that difficult.

Little help.

Thanks,
James

The ground plug on the filter shell or the plug on top of the console?

The black plug with 4 wires that plugs in from the bottom side, inline with where the white plug is on the top side.
If that makes sense.

Great pic. Thats it.

Ended up being able to wiggle the whole thing out and switch the filter. Now concerned that the white piece the filter sits in is not right since the "U" shaped clip does not seem to go back in tight.

A little concerned.

Got the new o ring in? I actually filed the edge down on the u shaped retainer because the square edge kept digging in when trying to reassemble it. Went back together easier then.
