Me too! Theres just something about the workmanship and pure asthetics with these bikes thats not present in any cruiser line Ive set and looked at......guess thats why we are in love with em....

There must be something lacking in our lives that we stare at a hunk of chrome and iron and gain some sort of satisfaction out of it. I am guilty of this emotion. What is scary is sometimes I talk to her as she was a real person, thanking her for the great ride I just had or petting her as if she was child. One night just before I went to bed, I went out and just smile at her...it was strange, I thought she smiled back at me. We're sick you know. Deep rooted issues we all have. I gotten go, I thought I heard her crying in the garage.

I do it often....
I like to go out to the garage and just admire all of man possessions that I have acquired, while I have a cold beer or shot of ol#7.

therapy
i'm guilty of it too. been doing it since I was a kid with my Honda XR100. I must admit that it has almost stopped since i got married. when i brought my brand new super glide home a few years ago (my first ever brand new bike) and just wanted to sit and stare she couldn't understand why and still doesn't. I need to make time in my life for some sit-down therapeutic bike appreciation.
A guy needs it once in a while. Sit back and clear your mind and enjoy the beauty of your bike.

I find myself in a comfy lawn chair smoking a good cigar and drinking a beer and looking. usually when I'm done mowing the lawn or doing other man work. These are things of beauty.
