I bought my bike with the SE A/C. I was under the impression that is had the complete assembly and not just the filter. I'm thinking it is just the SE filter. Here is a pic:
I want to upgrade the filter setup to the K&N 320cfm. What else should I change?
You got everything. The old air cleaner was a large piece of black plastic. What you have is a simple back plate and an ok filter. They use to be cleanable, but then HD went to paper.
Thanks guys. That sure makes me feel better. I guess I will just paint the outside of the plate black. I remember reading a post here where someone did this.
I'll order the 320 cfm filter from Zippers and call it a day.
Thought I saw a black backing plate offered by HD. Same surface as the blacked out stuff on a Night Train - wrinkle black I think it is called. It is just a replacement for the one you have now.
