I've never understood why some people feel the need to assign a name to an inanimate object. I have never 'named' my refrigerator, or my dish washer. However, my Ex had a name....I called her 'The Bitch'. It was appropriate, and well deserved. But, maybe that's why she's now my Ex.
we've named all our vehicles for many years. originated as a way for the kids to identify with them - kind of a game and now it has proliferated throughout the family and extended family. it's just kind of a fun thing for us - kinda hokey, but its ours.
