I've never understood why some people feel the need to assign a name to an inanimate object. I have never 'named' my refrigerator, or my dish washer. However, my Ex had a name....I called her 'The Bitch'. It was appropriate, and well deserved. But, maybe that's why she's now my Ex.

we've named all our vehicles for many years. originated as a way for the kids to identify with them - kind of a game and now it has proliferated throughout the family and extended family. it's just kind of a fun thing for us - kinda hokey, but its ours.
1991 f150 - silver
1999 f250 - the beast
2008 tundra - pink lady (my OL's)
2008 prius - airplane
2003 ultra - adrian (not popular)
2010 limited - rocky
2009 wrangler - hoff
2011 deluxe - barq (root beer color)
1998 low rider - ruby
2007 ducati monster - duke
2001 bmw r1200c - lucile
2002 bmw - beemer (of course)
2007 flhp - mclane (police bike in sig)
there were a few more, but you get the point........
