Cherohala with turn off to waterfall, there is a small eating place at exit of cherohala called tellico cats , eat sandwich on back porch that sits above river. There is a Harley t shirt store real close to it.
Moonshiner 28 is excellent and the Fontana dam is pretty cool. You can ride over the top of dam and then ride to bottom area.

The burgers at the dragon diner are very good.
The road to nowhere in Bryson city is unusual...do google
Consider purchase of mad maps for motorcycle loops in the area

I grew up around the TN side of the dragon area. Not alot going on, there close, but your are really close to Gatlinburg, and Pigeon Forge. Also the wheels of time museum on the NC side. Best advice for anyone riding the dragon. DO NOT SPEED. THP is a real stickler for speeding bikes. They will bust you in a heart beat. Ride Safe and enjoy some of the best riding in the country.

Take a couple of cold drinks and some lunch and find a good turnout.

Best advice I can give you is ride your ride...don't ride above yourself...we go there a lot, only 300 miles away for me....but I've seen a lot of people get into trouble trying to ride above their abilities....be safe.
As for roads, good golly there are a ton of them, all good....yes the Dragon, skyway, Smokey Mt highway, moonshiner are all required....
off the Cherahola Skyway is a turn off to bald river falls, great photo opp....also at the end of the skyway is Tapaco, cool little town,,great restaurants....
As for eating, my favorites are
The Apple Barn, country food, great!
The Old Mill, great food, get the chicken
The Alamo steak house in Galltinberg not PF
Bennigans in Gattlinberg, great ribs
The burgers at Deals Gap ( Dragon) are very good, onion rings are great.
