Got up this morning, looked at the OL and said pack for a long ride. By 10 stand was up and we just rode and rode withno particular destination. Problem is every time we stopped to check out a new place I just wanted to back on the bike and ride. Stopped to eat, and just gobbled the food so we get back on. Even stopped at an HD dealer, and couldn't wait to get out. Gotta be a medical name, rideorexia, HDfever, wannaridemoreitis. Checking with medical insurance to see if covered. What an awesome f'n day. Hope yours was the same.

Hi Dave!
I guess you can pack up, and tag along with me to Chicago, and ride the Route 66 to CA in June.
That should be enough ride for you!
Nick
was going to ride today and wife got tickets to the Pirate game. so we rode to game, hr ride. watched Pirates get beat then rode back home. beutifull day for ballgame but kept thinkin man i sure would rather be ridin. hey but wife is happy so makes me happy. win win
I know what you mean. The ol and I are going west in july for a couple weeks. No real destination other than the ocean.
I think the only cure is moving to a climate that doesn't include snow,a farm designation for cheaper gas and an income that doesn't include working.
Keep it in the wind
I have that itch without much of a way to scratch it. Wife finds out this week when she has to have surgery which will sideline her for 6-8 weeks. And destroys our 4 month plans to spend a week riding around Eureka Springs the first part of June. Looks like mid - late summer before we can get our therapy.

I have that condition also. The wife and I usually ride alone. Seems like when we ride with friends, they want to stop and sit in bars. Not my thing to sit and look out the window at my bike. I like to ride. When we get home, I crack a beer or 8, while I clean the bike.
It's not unusual for the wife and I to do over 300 miles on a day trip, and not really go anywhere.
