I didn't realize that it would effect my clutch adjustment like it did lol. backed out of garage without testing, and the clutch wouldn't engage. Oh well... another lesson learned. I like the bars. Maybe not as much as I thought I would. I felt like I had more control of the bike with the stock bars at a near stop and when turning, but these bars allow me to sit back and relax much more going down the highway. I'll go with these for awhile. I may switch to the WO575s later if I don't get used to these. I didn't run the wires internally for this very reason. Had no problem getting the TBW wiring out of the bar and disconnected. Just have to be gentle and patient. I found that twisting the wires around while gently pulling helped a lot.
You'll get used to the bars, took me a sold 500 miles for them to start feeling natural. After a bit of time the bars will be perfect for you. As far as control goes, don't forget to lean a bit forward when you're riding a bit more aggressively

during my research for bars I found this picture which helped me decide to go with W1 575. internal wired and clutch cable re routed. no extra parts needed. the clutch cable exits the fairing along side the bar.

The top bar is stock.
The Second bar is the Chubby 575.
The Third is the HD wheel barrow pullback bars.

Installed them (touring pull back)on my 2010 FLHTK, huge difference for me, as I have T-Rex arms...combined with a rider backrest completely changed my ride comfort. With the stock bars I found myself leaning forward all the time and could never get comfortable. With the pull back bars, I can sit back, and my short arms aren't always full extended. The install went a lot smoother than I imagined, it was the first self install I did on my bike, but with help from reading posts on this forum and a couple of youtube videos, plus the service manual, it was fairly manageable. Re-routed the clutch cable under the fairing. Didn't have to add any cables and saved a few hundred doing it myself. Very happy with the result. Was planning on doing the install step by step with pictures, but once we got going, we forgot to take pictures...sorry.

Hi I'm new here.
Would someone (admin?) help me view this picture? I get this message whenever I try.
