Everything works as before......
The wires are fed threw the bars...unlike HD pull backs

I had this discussion with HD dealer and they were suggesting a heritage softail handlebar, and it would fit on a road glide with no cable/ line changes. They felt a little like mini ape hangers, but not too tall.

Frankly the stock ones on my FatBoy Lo are perfect , on that bike.

The WO575 bars ,per the website, they don't recommend them for a Road Glide but they look pretty cool for your bike.

Very confusing. Some say you don't need a +4 clutch cable. Some say you do. Some say the wires go inside the HD bars some say they don't. I am getting ready to install a HD pullback on my 2010 Ultra and am still confused. Do I have to run the wires on the left controls through the bars or can I leave them outside? Do I need a new clutch cable or don't I? sorry, I just don't want to go buy stuff that I don't need.

I can only re-state my personal experience. I don't know if a 2010 Ultra is the exact same as my 2012 Ultra Limited.

Harv's Harley-Davidson (Macedon, NY) installed the HD pullback bars (#56176-08) on my 2012 FLHTK during my 1000 mile service on 5/25/12.

I didn't need to buy an extended clutch cable or brake line. I did have to purchase the "twist grip sensor kit #32310-08". I just checked my work order and they also charged for (2) stamp & formed pins #72190-94 @ $1.00/ea and (2) stamped & formed sockets #72191-94 @ $1.00/ea. They charged me two hours labor.

The wires are run inside the bars and the heated grips still work.

The grip angle was changed, but I don't find it an extreme change. I like the new bars.

FWIW..........

Can also only speak to my experience........your mileage may vary.

Installed HD pullbacks on my '11 Ultra Classic. I ran the wires through the bars (but you don't HAVE to; just looks cleaner). I also bought a new twist sensor for the TBW. You can search the forum and find more than enough info for the reasoning behind getting a new TBW sensor and putting the wires inside the bars. No new clutch cable or brake line needed. My have to slightly relocate though.
HTH.

Too add further confusion: Dealer installed mine. I needed the ext clutch cable to route it as the original was routed. Nothing else needed. Ran the wires outside (as the originals). Looking at the clutch cable there is certainly not a lot of extra play; seems to me that the original would be pretty tight unless you go under the fairing rather than through the hole.

Ok. Thanks for the inputs. I think I'll just run the wires on the outside like it is now. In case I don't like the bars, I don't want to do all that work with the plugs more than once. On the TBW I think if I have a problem with the plug I'll just cut it off and solder the wires.

FYI - For those of you that are trying to find out what you need to do with Chubby's bars, they (Wild1) are a good source of info on what you need. Contact them and they will tell you if you need cables and whatever else to do the install. That's what they do.

Well I tried the HD pullback bars and didn't like the wrist position. So I'm going to try the Khrome Werks sweeper +2 bars 300515. I have them on but have to finish installing the new clutch cable 38649-08A which is a +4 cable from the original OEM. I also had to extend the TBW wiring. I bought a 15" extender from barnett cable which allowed the plug to come out of the bars. Just sitting on the bike they feel better and more comfortable than the other ones but everyone is different. Can't wait to finish it up today and test ride it. I guess I'll just sell the HD pullback bars 56176-08
