Default 2" touring pullback bars. Opinion

I installed a set of 2" pullback touring handlebars on my bike last night...took about 3 hours in all cuz i had to replace the fluids in 1 of my forks...Well rode the bike to work today and took about a 75 mile ride this evening and WOW! what a difference. Never thought 2" would make a difference but dayam,,,,

Did you have to change any lines or cables?

OK the ones for my bike (07) was a #55914-91 or-98...For yours it would be #56176-08...You will have to take you fairing mirrors off and plug the holes and add mhandlebar mirrors...should't have to change the cables. I borrowed a buddies Manual to make sure i wasn't screwing up anything.

Hardest part of that job is getting the screws back into the stereo.

Thanks for the info NGU. I've been looking for bars but didn't want to go ape, and really didn't want to have to change wiring & cables. Sounds like just the fix...
