I've read quite a few posts from members who have said that the stock clutch cable on their Ultra was long enough, however I found that turning the handlebar all the way to the left stretched the cable a bit too much for my liking.

If you plan ahead i am sure you could get one of these from a reputable vendor like Dr V-twin..

I added the 2" bars to my 1993 FLHS a couple years ago. Only had to change the clutch cable. The brake line was a bit of a stretch, but it worked. It made an incredible difference in my riding posture. I am 6' 4" tall and had to bend forward to reach the stock bars. After I installed the extended bars I could reach confortably while sitting straight up. It didn't seem likely that 2" would make that much difference, but it really did.

Now I want to do the same to my 2011 Ultra Limited so I am really interested in knowing if the stock lines and cables will reach.

Just curious if you guys would say you have average reach. I'm about 5-11, and am thinking that I'd like a little more back, but that 2" might be over-kill. I'm thinking that possibly, I might even be able to get away with just adjusting the stock bars. Thanks.

I just put the HD 2" pull backs on about two weeks ago and really like them. Due to back problems I like to be able to lean on the drivers back rest and found it very difficult when needing both hands on the grips at the same time with the old bars. Now I have no problems at all.

I was able to install them without replacing either the brake or clutch cable, although the clutch cable goes a little tight when I turn my bars clear to the right hand stop. I decided it was livable and returned the diamond cut braided line back to Harley so I could buy other bling. So in other words the moco still got my money.

I had them on my 04 SG and loved them the guy who put them on said it was a PIA job making everything reach, but he did it without buying new cables

Never thought 2" would make a difference but dayam,,,,I bought them on Ebay for $41 from Barb's HD...Very good investment.

Are you sure it was Barb's HD? Can't find her on the 'bay.

ftzoid,

I have rode the wife's Street Glide several times, the 2" pull back is real nice but the wrist angle of the bars are not the best for me. I'm 5'11" with a 34-35" sleeve length. The angle is a little too much which causes the wrists to get sore.

I'm with you. Although those bars are cheap, I couldn't use them for more than 1 day before taking them off. I will say that I have a whole stack of bars in the garage that didn't work for me so it wasn't just those.

Yea, I'd be interested too for my 2010 FLHTCU. Your's is a 2007, so the only real difference (with the handlebars at least) is the electronic throttle control... I can't find Barb's HD either...

They only had 1 pair. These bars were old stock that they were getting rid of...Just keep looking.
