Reda Gas Can Review
Not that I've used the tactic more than once (for a watch), But if you send another email, along with a link to this review letting him see there are prospective buyers on the fence about buying his product, it might light a fire under his *** to make things right for you....I'm not saying it's right that he hasn't yet, But sometimes that extra little incentive manages to get people more receptive in taking care of the customers complaint...( my self, I think I'm going quickster47s route, and getting one of the normal spouts. The original works, but I dont need it breaking in a time of need)

I have a 1999 with the M&M FI. I got 45-50 mpg's when I first got the bike, but after one of the injectors took a dump, I am now getting 36 mpg. It seemed that when the injector started to go I could move the TPS & get it to run better (not great, just better). I have adjusted the TPS to what the manual says but it only got 30 mpg & adjusted the TPS slightly to get the 36 mpg's. Long story short my light comes on @ 4 gallons used & I have 1 gallon for reserve. One cold day (less than 30* maybe 25*) riding home from work (20 miles) hitting a head wind & the light came on just after I left work. Thought tomorrow will be warmer during the day since it was Friday evening, I'd be ok to get home & get gas the next day. I also was supposed to meet with someone & was running late as it was. Ran out of gas 1/2 mile from home. Of coarse maybe if I had a Reda can the spout would have broken & still would have been in the same predicament, maybe not. I have come close to running out of gas before on trips, just because there was a stretch without gas stations for 75 miles. I will be getting either a MSR or the Reda can in the future & try to get my bike back up to the 45-50 mpgs.

But Reda can't sell the easy type with their Fuel Cans because of EPA regulations.
The caps must be EPA Compliant to meet regulations.
You need to replace it yourself, and at your own risk if you don't like the original cap/spout.
