Anyone tried a different mounting place for the mini beast horn. I have the lenalr bracket but it doesn't look like it will fit. Thanks
I removed the air horn from the cover and mounted it on the saddlebag support bracket at the rear of the bike. Waiting on delivery of a 130db horn to use with the stock HD horn cover. 139 & 130db's should wake the brain dead cagers out there!!!
No but the next time I have my bags off, I'll snap a picture.
Some may say it's "rigged" but I used wide heavy duty black plastic zip ties to mount it. It's not going anywhere.
It also seems a lot louder then it was behind the cover.
The other horn should be in today and I will do a review with pictures.
I have a very similar horn. I split the horn and the compressor, mounted the compressor on one side under the fairing and the horn on the other side. Attached both with ties wraps cause I wasn't sure if I was going to like it. 6 months and both still there and working.
