Default Phase 7 Led Install Help

Just got my new phase 7 head light and was not sure on removal of stock head light. Do you have to remove the fairing or do I just remove the trim ring? Also is it hard to tell which screws is for removal and adjusting the light beam Thanks and sorry I still dont have a manual. So I can't read the lol

What you need is also in the little owner's book you got with the book.

1screw on the bottom of the trim ring, and 3 screws on the retaining ring.

You do not need to remove the fairing.

Remove the 1 screw holding the trim ring. Then remove the 3 screws holding in the headlight (you can only see them once you remove the ring). Unplug the old one, plug in the new one, and reverse the process to reinstall the new light.

and I hope you also bought the new french trim ring, either visor or not

cause your light is going to stick WAY out from stock and look ODD

that French trim ring fits over the stock trim ring and you need to keep the stock one loose to fit the french one over it, then tighten them down after the french one is secured over the stock one.

Ok great thanks for the help and yes I have the trim ring with the annoying little splice on the bottom that doesnt meet correctly for me and hopefully might meet up after this light install but I doubt it. Lol
