Just joined up and looking forward to being a forum member. Learned alot from you guys on here recently and figured if there was an aswer to my question then ya'll were the people for me.
I've got a 2008 SG and looking for the skull tipped brake/clutch levers. I've found them up to 2007, but apparently the '08s have a different setup?
Trying to avoid the Kuryakyn Zombie levers if possible and just go with the skull tipped ones that HD used to make.
Technically, I believe they'll bolt on, but they lack the protuberance necessary to activate the switch that operates the clutch interlock feature. The short version...if you leave it in gear and try to start it without pulling the clutch lever in, it'll crank and the bike will lurch forward.
Not many options, I chose to go with Paul Yaffe levers. Send them yours they machine them down to a taper so the ball is gone then they drill them out you can get them polished or powdercoated black for about $150.
