Hello all,
Long time reader first time posting here...I've been debating for the last couple months if I want to start changing out some chrome for gloss black. More specifically the Harley edge cut collection. I'm worried the sinister blue will not look good against black. Has anyone done this or have any pictures of how the blue would look with a lot more black?
i added them to mine, but I am black and chrome already, but a buddy did it on his red limited and it looks ok, so my guess is that your blue would be fine also
It's interesting you should ask this, because I had that exact same debate with myself regarding black parts and edge cut parts on blue. In the end I decided to go with a black SG (still in the process of blacking things out on it).
I haven't been through the whole thing yet, but I'm sure there are pics of blue bikes with black goodies on them in there somewhere. There's just about anything you can think of in that thread!
EDIT- sorry I just noticed you don't have an SG. There are picture threads of all the different touring models here though:
Thanks guys, I bought her with every piece of chrome possible already attached. Good price though but maybe a little over the top for my liking. I'm starting to clean it up a little. Problem is most of it is drilled on and I'll have to repaint if I take some things off. We'll see how it goes.
waiting on my wheel but this is what I got
I've been thinking about going with a BMW laguna seca blue they got on their M3's or like an army green on all my body panels and think it would look killer against the black

Jimmy, that is one sweet *** ride! Are those 12 inch bars? Pipes are first but bars are second for me, and I'm in love with the 9 inch Yaffe bars. I hate the fish tails on mine but unfortunately they sound the best. The bike came with 3 sets of slip ons! But your bike is black. I was hoping to see the sinister blue with the edge cut. Has anyone seen one?

Thanks!
Smoky Mountain HD had a Big Blue Pearl SG that had a lot of black on it...edge cut options, forks, wheels etc. that I almost bought on the spot it was so good looking. Thats a little darker than yours but I still think it would look great. (you might check their website and see if it is still featured in their custom bike section...it was killer in person)
