i havea 2006 street glide carb. it is ported polished 203 cams mikuni carb. when i bout it it had true dual rineharts i changed the slips to a hooker. the other day i was driving up a hill and got a throttle a little and i heard this chatter not consistant just when bike is lugging. any idea what it may be? i am thinking it is the jetting but any help would b greaty appreicated. when i put hookers on it popped through cabr once and awhile so i turned air screw in and that eliminated that problem . please let me kow what you think it could be-
thats when it was doin it, thats the same thing i thought bought im new to working on harleys i came from the sport bike world its when its under load and you throttle hard on it
Is it a slight chatter at higher speed not so much when your floaring but when its been under a load for a spell or a lot of valve chattering all at once.... does that make sense?
no its only when in in town and in a higher gear just cruising and throttle hard on it, or at highway speeds 5 gear and throttle hard it does im pretty sure it just needs rejetting and a tune in
