I've tried searching for a good picture of a chrome inner primary cover. I'd like to install one, but after looking at some with the covers, I don't like that at all. I'm guessing the real thing would look good though. I tried searching, but work on dial up, so you can imagine that frustration.

 

I don't know if you think its a good picture or not but here's mine.

 

Get the H-D brand, others I've had don't look or fit as well as H-D. Mark

There is a little chrome piece available that some put over the stock inner primary. I think that's the one that looks like heck.

 

I went with the HD chrome primary. I didnt like the covers so I got the real deal put on.

When I look at covers I'm sooo glad I stepped up. To me it looks a lot better then just a cover.

The one you show in the picture is what I'm talking about.The real deal. If you zoom in you can see mine.

 

I pulled the trigger on a HD one yes. Nice thing it is free install, since the motor is out anyway.

 

That was the first piece of chrome I took off my Fatboy when I bought it. It also had some pitting in it.....
