the only time you will ever notice it is if your cylinder head temp reaches (app) 285*, and you're sitting at an idle. why not have it on?

On. Had it enabled on my '10 FXDC as well. I can't see a downside to having it enabled.

Always enabled. Might also say that I had an oil cooler installed before I took delivery of the bike. Still my EITMS has kicked on a time or two. Once in heavy traffice and another time when I hit a construction delay, both time the temp was about 95 degrees. So EITMS is always enabled.

If that acronym is for the rear cylinder drop out feature at idle, then yes, I leave it enabled year around. To tell you the absolute truth there are so many abbreviations and acronyms being floated around that half the time I don't know what the hell folks are talking about. I can't remember if they call that a sign of old age or alzheimers.
