I've read that the Carlini bars run 1.5" taller than the advertised height & am wondering if the Wild 1 Chubbys are the same way or if they're actually true to the advertised height.

Carlini bars do run about an inch taller than most of similar measurement, They tell you that on their web site, for example: http://www.carlinidesign.com/handleb.../flying125.php

I have the Wild 1 Chubby 14" Bagger Apes. They are pretty close to a true 14" rise.

Carlini Flying Apes are around 1.5" higher (I have 16s that are actually 17.5"). I also have Wild One Chubby 18" which are actually 18". SJ Ron

Thanks for the replies guys. That was the info I was looking for. I read on here that the Carlini's were 1-1.5" taller than the advertised height I just wasn't sure about the Chubbys.

It seems Carlini measures from the middle of the bottom curve rather than the bottom. I had some 16" that actually measured over 18" from the very bottom to the highest point. The grips were 16" at the low end so my hands were about 17" more or less. Does this make sense?
