River Street is pretty cool, lots of place to eat, drink and be merry. The best pizza in the world is at Vinnie Van Go's at the end of Historic District on the square adjacent to the the old Historic Church. There are marine museums, old forts and old houses to visit on the squares. A great town. If you ride on River Street BE CAREFUL, a cobble stone with a rail road track in the center and traffic is very heavy at times.

"savannah Hilton head Intl Airport..It was changed because people believed it was easier to fly into Charleston.
Savannah of course with the history ,River st, Tybee beach, ghost tours,City Market.
Hilton Head is mostly private and Crowded. The road Rt 278 is now 4 lanes
Local riding, Rt 204 (204 and 95 is the Sav harley dealer), Rt 17 South to Brunswick,St Simons,Jeykyll island St pk, Rt 280 , etc etc....
I'll watch this thread if any question.
I'm only 10 Miles s of Savannah

Stayed at a Best Western that was "biker friendly".
Also, I think if you are a HOG member they give towels to clean up your scoot and discont too!

If you have never been, river street is a very cool place to see and spend an evening. At least i thought so. I ate ate paula deans other restraunt in town. It was good. Drinks were good too. Parking was foooked and it was a week day night
