Default Fork Torque help needed... God help me!

So we were attempting to get my bike (2011 RKC) built back up and ready to ride in the next few days after waiting weeks longer than expected, when we were finishing up my front end.

Everything came together just fine when it came time to tighten it all up we could not, for the life of me find the torque specs in the service manuel for the two bolts at the very bottom of the right side that holds the front wheel axle in place.

SO... by buddy and I agree on what we thought was a good enough torque and he snapped the damn thing off! Broke the bolt. Now I have to get new lowers and start all over.

I'm headed to a HD in the next 48 hrs to get a new set off lowers since the bolt that broke off seems to be one of the few, if not only ones that cannot be fixed or replaced.

DOES ANYONE KNOW THE TORQUE SPEC FOR THIS? So I do not "guess wrong" again?!

Thank you for your help in advance.

It's under "Front wheel removal / replacement" in the manual. The 2005 and 2012 manual both list the torque as 132-180 INCH POUNDS

Which is only 15 ft lbs....

IIRC those are studs and you should be able to replace them.

yes they are. My mistake. I was able to recover one of the studs in my oem set and use it. Thank you. That saved me DAYS of not riding. Now onto further assembly, and Apes...
