I fired up the tuner this evening, very easy to work with! No problems installing the software on my laptop with Win7. One comment that isn't mentioned in the quick start guide, when you hook the PV up to the diagnostic port on your bike and turn the ignition on, you also need to flip your kill switch to run. I couldn't figure out why I kept getting a "cannot find ECM" error message, finally turned on the kill switch and it worked fine after that.

Also, since you have to hook your PV up to your laptop before putting it on the bike, I recommend backing up the custom tune to your PC before trying to flash it. You just never know what might happen.

I haven't ridden it yet since flashing, I need to get the Heavy Breather installed now (thankfully the breather screws were in stock at the dealer).

I just got off the phone with FuelMoto. I ordered the Power Vision, they said it would be mapped and sent out Monday and I should have it by mid-week. Can't wait for it to get here. __________________

Will do! I've got some chores to do in the morning, but I should be able to get the intake on in the afternoon and take it for a shakedown ride.

Ah I see... I do have the stage 1 download and I spoke to Jamie at FM a while back while I was trying to make my decison and he said I was ok with my set up although it certainly could be better. I was worried about engine damage etc.. from everything I had been reading and he said not to. I had planned to order the PV a while back, but sometimes "life" gets in the way of ones plans. Had to take care of the important stuff first. Yesterday was my day so by mid-week next week I will be flashing my ecm and looking for WOW!!!

LOL - wut? No. Have you ever heard of a bike exploding from being too lean? the bottom line is the ECM and the sensors adjust to pipes and ac. There are those that disagree, but they're wrong. Harley engineers will tell you the same thing (yes, I know, we know better than Harley engineers), they were even quoted about this in an article either in HOG magazine or The Enthusiast a few years back.

Granted, the ECM adjusts to EPA settings which most people think is too lean, and I agree, but it wont damage your bike for Pete's sake.

Yikes! You actually USE that switch? Why, ignition's not enough? I've been riding since LONG before those "Kill" switches even showed their ugly faces on bikes, and have always been firmly convinced that they were originally conceived by well-meaning but totally ignorant bureaucrats trying to protect us from ourselves.

They're useless as **** on a boar hog, and lead to stuff like......well, what you had happen. Anybody EVER use their "Kill" switch to avoid a catastrophe? Didn't think so.

Not sure if it'll make you go "WOW" but maybe "wow" I just went for a ride, I honestly can't tell much of a difference in straight-line acceleration but I did have some pinging before (even though I'm running 93 octane) and it's gone now. Also there's no popping on decel, it never really bothered me but I've read others complain about it. If I were planning on stopping my mods here I'd be disappointed, but my end goal is to haul the bike to FM and get a 107 kit, headwork & cams. The work I've done so far is just laying the groundwork for that

I know, amazing, right? Would you believe I use other silly things like the turn signals and the high beam switch too? Craziness! I suppose if you have one bike to your name and it's one with the center-mounted ignition switch you could forego the kill switch. I don't, I have four and the ignition switches are in very inconvenient locations on two of them. So I use the kill switch on all of them, old habit.

I ran the PV,, first time I did with bike running got a fail.. called,,learned its in the start position... PV married new map and stored stock. no PC or anything.. bike runs like a top
