Park mine on a piece of indoor/outdoor carpeting. No slipping, no problem. I use a 6" square piece of plywood under the kickstand but probably don't need to. It's good to sit and lay on when doing minor maintenance/cleaning.
I have used indoor/outdoor carpet for years and not have any problems with the bikes sliping or moving around, I even use my motorcycle lift on the carpet with no problems.
With the lift you just can't roll the bike around but have never needed to move the bike once it is on the lift.
