Default Compression Ratio?

I have got a 95 in build with 030 head gaskets and HD flattop pistons ,Heads were milled .005 according to machine shop. What should my compression ratio be? How can I check it.I built this in 07 and have gone thru 2 starter clutches and one high torque starter.I am going to probably go with a thicker head gasket and compression releases.

I think comp releases would be a good idea.
I did not have them on my 07 FLSTF 103 build, that was 9.8:1 comp. Hot start issues comps would have been a plus.

I am probably going to add releases .I wish I would have known better when I did my top end build.I asked and was told I would,nt need comp releases.I suspect my heads were milled much more than .005.

I was told I would not need compression release on my 103 upgrade....but I put them in anyway.... if I don't open the MCR's ...bike will not turn over. MCR's always make sense if your heads are going to be off.

You gave all the info except what's critical, What Cam? Corrected compression is what you want to look at try the Big Boyz calculator on their website, but it does sound like you need some compression releases.
