Smile Installing Santee 11's on my FLX

I started the tear down Monday when I saw my brake line and clutch cable shipped. I've just been working on it afternoons before work, and sometimes when I got home in the morning. The many threads on this forum have helped a ton, so I just wanted to tell you all thank you! I've still got to put the clutch cable on, bleed the brakes, and put it back together. Getting the TBW through the bars was the only real hang up b/c of the green plug. I had a little issue with the ignition switch not working, which ended up being the tumblers not aligned correctly. Thanks again everyone, and I will post up some pics when I'm done.

I ended up cutting the green plug out and soldering the wires, even with 1 1/2" it is real tight with the right control wires...make sure you post some pics...my 14" Santee's look spectacular and the pullback.....just what I needed!

I had another hang up after I got it back together. On the test ride I noticed the cruise was not working. Then an hour later my wife, a buddy, and I went on a short ride. I found out why the cruise was not working....because the brake lights were always on. I lost the little copper piece that spaces the brake switch. Problem solved. Everything works just as a it's suppose to, and I love the bars! When I get bored, I may play around with the rotation though. I think I would like them rotated just a tad more towards me. I angled my left mirror to where it works pretty well, but I have to bend down to see out of the right. They are fine for right now, but if I get tired of it I have a pair of mirrors off the wife's old VRod. Once again, thanks to all of you for the multiple threads on the this subject and the responses to those threads. Couldn't have done it without ya'll. Now some pics:
