I've ran PIAA lights in my truck before. They were the absolute best lights I'd ever used. I won't run them on the bike though. They only lasted a year in the truck. And with the price they run, and the fact the bike's lights are always on, no thanks.

I use these same bulbs. Great upgrade. I got about three years out of my last one. I use the anti-vibration version.

Are these a direct replacement for a stock bulb or do you need any type of adapter/plug/harness to make them work. Any heat issues? Want brighter lights and $$$ for an LED not in the cards right now. Bought a cheaper so called Xenon bulb but not much difference than stock.

They are anti-vibration ones so hope they last over a year. Even if they don't divide price by ?? months and still cheap for extra lighting.

On newer bikes they are direct replacement can't speak for older ones as I believe they are sealed fog lifts so would need a diff part #.

I haven't experienced or heard of any heat issues.
