Okay so I'm having a couple of issues with the BAL-1 I put on my wif's bike. First off, along the top edge of the LED plate when looking thru the license plate window, there's a vey obvious line of yellow (glue maybe) that is visible. Secondly, after a 200 mile ride today, the casing around the left side screw broke and so now the taillight is only being held on by the right side screw.
Anyone else have the "over glue" issue?
Anyone else ever get the busted casing? (before going down the path of my over-tightening it, this is probably the 10th replacement taillight I've installed on personal & friend's scoots with no issues)
I have not heard of any issues with these yet, but now I will pick mine up at the dealer instead of online, so I can open it up right at the counter and check for this.
Thanks for the heads up.
Installed one on my bike and one on my wife's. No problems. Except for someone riding my tail. These are MAJOR bright.
Talked to them when I ordered. Seemed like good people. Worth a call to solve the problem.

They are good people to work with when problems crop up. I had a problem out of the box for the lay down model that I special ordered thru my dealer. I contacted the company and they took good care of me.
