I did check all connections and everything seemed fine....Maybe when I get home tonight I will re-do all connection (unplug and re-plug in)

I also did try putting the fob on the seat and even at the antenna point....Nothing helped, still needed to use the turn signals.

And thanks for the link to the trouble codes----I also run that test tonight as well when i get home.

Thanks again for the help and hints!!! Thats why this site ROCKS!!!

I'll ride to work again today and see how it all goes--I just hope this isn't the warning shot that its time for a trade-in. LOL

Default Disable alarm

I tried tonight to used the Speedometer Self Diagnostics---But the alarm went off right away.

Anyone know how to totally disable the alarm or any way to use the DTC without a working fob?

Any help would be great-----i did check in the owners manual and service manual but didn't find anything.

I'm throwing this in the mix. Did you check the voltage on the new batteries?? Just an idea... New doesn't mean a thing. Just my thoughts and easy to do.

Good question, normally you turn the ignition switch to on with the fob on the seat, wait for red key light to go out and then pull the maxi fuse or in your case unplug the siren but if the red light doesn't go out, I'm not sure how you can quite the siren.
