My bike had developed a sound that I didn't like. I took it in to the dealer for that and a 30,000 mile service. They diagnosed a bad primary bearing. When the service writer noted that I wanted Amsoil for my service they told me that they've seen a lot of the bikes that have that problem were also running Amsoil.
So, I thought I'd pose the question to the forum. Of those of you who've had a bad inner primary bearing failure, were you using Amsoil? Or is this service writer imagining things?
I don't think it is Amsoil related but my 07 SG that I had at the time needed to have the inner primary bearing replaced. I was running Amsoil in the engine but formula + in the primary.
thats like saying i got an ulser because i drank wallmart water instead of dollar store water ....wallmart water didn't have anything to do with the ulcer
