Thinkin of removing my tank decals, which are factory 81'FLH, and putting on these 59' 60' FL badges I bought yesterday for 40 bucks. Just looking for some input, im torn between the two. Thanks....
Heres the tank now, the new emblems, what theyd look like, and two of the bike to give ya an idea of the look of it.
Yeah im kinda leaning towards leaving it alone. I just liked the idea of a proper emblem as opposed to the decals. Had to buy the emblems when I saw them, thinking maybe changing the red to blue might help.
Changing the red to blue will make a big difference. You did ask for opinions, personally I like emblems over decals. But, with the red, it didn't work for me.
Well I peeled off the decals (which was a bitch), but I dont think im going to use these new emblems. Not too worried I was never super keen on those decals anyways. Im thinkin I need something a little more custom looking, as opposed to something vintage looking. Something with a more aggressive look and font. Something like the new CVO bikes have. Im drawn to these two, otherwise I may look into getting my own decals made. Or leaving the egg empty.
