Front forks on '06 Ultra

Front forks on '06 Ultra
I was told when I bought the bike it had cartridge forks. The forks shown in my '06 SM do not look any different than any other conventional fork. Someone on here posted something about the left fork being a cartridge. What are they???

I posted something about a slight amount of oil on my left front fork on my '06 Ultra. Someone responded and said that unless it was at the bottom of the fork it was most likely oil from the steering bearing. It is very slight and I tend to think that's what it is. I'm not aware of the forks being anything other than "forks". I'm afraid I have no idea what a cartridge fork is.
