I opened the box on my 40 spoke rear and one of the spokes were broken. First they said that it had to be shipping but there wasnt a markon the box. Then they told me I had to contact the distributor I went through to get new spoks or refund. Distributor told me I had to contact DNA for warranty. Huge run-around. Wanted me to pay for return shipping, $75, or I could get a replacement spoke sent out. Went that route then had to pay $50 to get rim re-sealed. This was last month, not last year. I would strongly recomend any other manufacturer.
I couldn't agree with the title of this thread more! DNA is by far the WORST company I have EVER dealt with in my entire life! Not just here at Dr. V-Twin, EVER!!! I really hope you get somewhere with them. It personally took me a YEAR to get a refund issued back to us.
After seeing the type of company they were, we stopped carrying their products. That was in early 2010. Looks like they still haven't learned their lesson. What a shame.
Agree with Wolfman94 and any others who've said...take it up the chain of command. If it's an owner or manager you talked to, you're probably screwed already. But otherwise, I'd be cool, calm and collected, and get to the point where you can talk to their management. Let us know how it comes out. Already, there are numerous posts in this thread that are not complimentary to them...so you're probably going to need some luck...
DNA is the worst. My crystal wheels have never been on my bike. Both front and back have been bad. Back had to have a new DNA rotor sent and installed finally OK. Front has been sent back to DNA for inspection . First time it came back they say it was OK . DNA rotors have over 35 thousand wobble.rim is back there now for further inspection..I called many times and the dealer has too. No one there even the v.p. gives us the run around . This has been going on since march 1st of 2012, here it is June 17th 2012. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE. I am really worried about even installing now.
Good luck getting anything out of them .they can't even get their new wheels right . The chain of command has the gift of lies ,promises, and no knowledge of what is going on there. Can't even give you a call back when he tells you he will, even his secretary has the same standards. Wow I can't believe they are still in business.
