It's not that hard once you figure it out. It took me a while as well at first.
Here's my suggestion.
Take a photo or video from your phone
Email that photo to yourself
Open your email and click on the photo or Vidoeo
Right click the photo or attachment and chose to save attachment
A window will open and you can chose where to save it
Now, when starting a new thread or replying to a thread you can click on the paper clip
At the top of that window click on chose file
After you select the file then click on upload
You will see your file listed under attachment key in the same window
Once it is there, you can submit your post
If you want to make sure it is there, instead of hitting submit, hit the advanced tab, then click preview post
Hope this helps, seems like a lot but it's rather easy
