Always better to be able to be eye level with things when doing service work, crawling on the ground goin after drain plugs sucks!

Remember, the primary needs to be drained and filled with the bike being level - not on the jiffy stand.

I have the service manual for the 2011 touring models and there is nothing in it that I can find about having the bike level when draining and filling the primary.

I doubt you will need to adjust the belt. I never have to adjust mine between tire changes. They hold up much better than a chain.

I got a lift and a table, I use the lift way more than the table. I like both. Both are usefull for different kinds of work.

Good luck refilling the primary without the bike being level. You can put a 2x4 under the kickstand, but it needs to be level.

I did the 10K on my bike this past weekend. All three holes were done with the bike on the jiffy stand. I put 38 oz in the primary using the "funnel" that H-D sells for that purpose. I had no problems whatsoever.
